As I just learned, UN declared June 3rd as International World Bicycle Day. What a great chance to start exactly on this day my cycling tour along the river Elbe from the source down to the North Sea.
The first lag was a challenge with a total ascent of 1700m and distance of 60 km. But absolutely rewarding by the sceneries of the Czech Giant Mountains. Above all, the feeling off standing at the source of one of the most important European rivers is irreplaceable.
