Day 7 – Through the vineyards

If apples dominated the landscape of our trip two days ago, then today these were definitely the vineyards. Compared to Austria and Germany where wine is grown mostly on steep hills, and thus called Weinberg (wine mountain) here these are mostly flat fields. Like with the apples: highly industrialized with artificial irrigation and other extras.

Leaving Rovereto we start bidding if the rain will come or not. I take the high risk and claim that no drops will hit us.

Mapy.cz is fully excused. Even local bikers shook head when arriving to this fence.

Verona. A city made famous by Shakespeare, though he was never here. I am here for the third time, mentioning Verona and my blog, but no one seems to notice. What might be the difference between Shakespeare and me?
